These keyboards show ads after you plug them in, even if you don't install any steelseries software. At least on Windows. They have some kickback with microsoft or something that does this. Super annoying.
I've been using this keyboard for about six months now and I've never seen an ad. I installed an older version of SteelSeries engine because I didn't want the bloat of the new version. Maybe that's why.

This, paired with the Rival 3, has been part of my WFH setup since July last year. I get them both as part of a "Level up Gaming" bundle that included a mouse pad I paid $35 for the bundle. No complaints or regrets, they work great! I'd highly recommend at this price.
keyboard is great if you can get over the travel; it's still has noise if you are coming from chiclet or scissor switches but real cheap to compete against the chinese rgb brands
steelseries engine does well to manage it all but now i use coolermaster keyboard; this has 10key so might not appeal if people don't like 100% keyboard
My son wants a gaming keyboard but doesn't like mechanical ones. I'll give this a try it is cheap enough. I guess I can always return it.
I have this keyboard. I believe the switches are rubber dome switches. It's been a really nice budget keyboard and has lasted me a long time. Would definitely recommend if looking for a cheaper, non mechanical keyboard. However it isn't the quietest depending on the surface it is on but it's not bad either.

Fakespot helps tell if theyre genuine or not a little bit but still not very trustworthy
