This game had a lot of performance issues when it launched on PC, right? Did those issues get resolved?

Love how people downvote without understanding the not all PC launches are smooth and not all of the issues get fixed in a reasonable amount of time but looks like it should be good now. https://www.eurogamer.net/digital...ally-fixed
And for the record, I wasn't hating on this game or release- was just asking a question on a PC release as I'm mainly a console gamer but am thinking about double dipping on this since I have a new gaming laptop. Zero Dawn is my favorite game of the PS4/XB1/NS era and would definitely love to revisit the game.
The best game I have ever played! Superb graphics, game play, music, effects, everything. Looking forward to sale on Forbidden West.

I had Zero problems with it on PC when I got it last November

Has anyone played on Steam Deck? I know there are performance videos showing it runs well, but I want to know how it plays vs console or pc. I played on ps 4 pro and have the new one on ps5 but haven't played yet.
230 hours into Elden Ring and not sure when I will play anything else, but this is a great price. . .for the backlog!

Yes, the issues were resolved. Truly a great game and I can't wait for Forbidden West to be ported over to PC!
This game's historic low was $11.99 on a 3rd party site the other day, it has NEVER been $3 on PC despite what one clueless idiot here posted.
Also, this game had a patch some months back, ~2.5 years after release, so I'd say it's as patched as it's going to get, apparently they learned from some of their God of War PC port mistakes and applied those corrections to Horizon.

People always show early game performance in videos but never further in the game. I loaded a late game save on the Steam Deck and it's a stuttery mess like below 15 fps in some areas.

That bad huh. That's why I don't even bother with AAA games on the Deck. I only use it for AA or less games from 8th gen and earlier or indies. Stable 60fps in every one of the those games. Also the Deck is great for fighting games.
When this game initially came out no one cared about it. Somehow now we're at a point people are praising it and saying it's the best game ever. Literally look at past deals of this game on here and you'll see it was selling for $3 and no one was biting still. Idk how the perception of the game changed years later after the release
What in the huh? From which multiverse are you posting this comment?
This game is fun, I played it on PC without issues. Blowing parts of huge robot dinosaurs with explosive arrows is endless fun. I highly recommend taming the fire cat dinos and setting them lose in raider camps, it's hilarious.

Is there a content difference between PC and PS4 versions? I loved every minute of it on PS4, I think I played the complete edition on PS4.
can't wait for the next one to come out on PC
Same here I've put 60hrs into it and haven't had problems at all
DLSS Scaling/performance boost
60 hours of content,
$12 for a game almost comparable to God of War.
