it has an 800lbs capacity on the rack and a pull-up bar on the top. I haven't had issues with it holding me for any of that nor has my 300+ lb friend that works out here when she does banded pull-downs.

That said, I wouldn't do anything that is at too much of an angle without weighing the whole thing down since it's light enough i can just grab the safety bars and lift it up, as well as have it shift with squat re-racks.

This will hold your weight just fine. While I do more of my TRX stuff using anchors I installed on my ceiling joists, both my wife and I have done full-body TRX exercises off this rack without issue. Granted I weigh 145 lbs, but not once did I feel like the rack was gonna topple or collapse on me. The rack itself feels sturdy but does wobble and shift a little depending on the exercise. I also have a plate holder attachment near the base and usually just keep a couple plates loaded on these or the barbell, which cuts down on movement. Also, while the rack itself doesn't secure to the ground, if you get the lat pull down attachment, there are a couple of anchoring holes you can use if you're inclined enough to drill into your flooring.

Not sure about inflation. These were much higher over the past few years. Never came back down post the home gym insanity of 2020.

Yep, this would have been ~ $400 through most of 2020-21, and probably backordered. That's how I ended up with a Cap Barbell open/half rack for $225 and that was considered "getting lucky". Only had to wait a month! Wink

They tested the market and found out what it would bear.

The stock photo is funny. He has no hooks to rest the bar on the inside and the bars on the sides are blocking his full range of motion lol.

Agreed. I bought this last year for $249 which was pretty good at the time. Forgot I had the price monitoring on it and was notified it dropped to $199.99. Figured I would share. For those wondering, you can install the pull up bar upside down if you have height constraints.

$231.90 on 6/26/2020. The landmine attachment and the pulley add on are good.

Pretty sure this and the progear 1600 are the same thing including the lat pulldown attachment? I still have the lat pulldown attachment for a 1600 in box, just been waiting for a rack to go on sale

This is a great beginner rack. The lat pulldown is also worth it.

He could be using the safeties to rest the bar and the picture may actually depict him lifting off from it. Lol but most likely not LMAO

Anyone that has this able to comment on how wobbly it is? I'm wondering if it's an issue with how people built it and if it can be supported more. It looks from the Amazon reviews you're never able to make it not wobble. I currently have a gym membership so Im not in a rush to get a rack for my home gym but it would be nice for the pull up and be able to hog a squat rack at home. How much should I be looking to spend on something that will last?
