Not sure about inflation. These were much higher over the past few years. Never came back down post the home gym insanity of 2020.

Yep, this would have been ~ $400 through most of 2020-21, and probably backordered. That's how I ended up with a Cap Barbell open/half rack for $225 and that was considered "getting lucky". Only had to wait a month! Wink

They tested the market and found out what it would bear.

The stock photo is funny. He has no hooks to rest the bar on the inside and the bars on the sides are blocking his full range of motion lol.

Agreed. I bought this last year for $249 which was pretty good at the time. Forgot I had the price monitoring on it and was notified it dropped to $199.99. Figured I would share. For those wondering, you can install the pull up bar upside down if you have height constraints.

$231.90 on 6/26/2020. The landmine attachment and the pulley add on are good.

Pretty sure this and the progear 1600 are the same thing including the lat pulldown attachment? I still have the lat pulldown attachment for a 1600 in box, just been waiting for a rack to go on sale

This is a great beginner rack. The lat pulldown is also worth it.

He could be using the safeties to rest the bar and the picture may actually depict him lifting off from it. Lol but most likely not LMAO

Anyone that has this able to comment on how wobbly it is? I'm wondering if it's an issue with how people built it and if it can be supported more. It looks from the Amazon reviews you're never able to make it not wobble. I currently have a gym membership so Im not in a rush to get a rack for my home gym but it would be nice for the pull up and be able to hog a squat rack at home. How much should I be looking to spend on something that will last?

That's just to show you how appropriate of a gym replacement it is. You can do a 1/8th ROM 3 plate squat, just like the goobers at your local gym.

Go big or go home bro

Same dudes taking off their shoes for extra power for their half squat.
