Spices enhance and create flavors. The salt and pepper only crowd are no different than the coffee should only be served black crowd. Your preference is not wrong and it is not right. Suggesting otherwise is snobbish.

I don't put this on steak but love it for burgers. This plus Worcestershire sauce makes for easy but tasty burgers, especially if making a bunch for a party. I put 1 Tbsp of each per pound of beef.

I am in the camp that thinks this steak rub is good on chicken (and cut-up turkey). I like it on baked drumsticks and chicken-wings. Grilled over charcoal even better.

I put this in everything. Mixed with cottage cheese on toast, or grilled vegetables, whatever. BBQ seasoning like the Kinder products tastes really good on vegetables too.

I got lucky and picked up a 3.5 lb Tomahawk ribeye at Sam's Club that was marked down to $7.48/lb last week. That one steak was enough for 4 people. I managed to cook it perfectly on the grill. So good.

..And I used Montreal Steak Seasoning. This is my go-to seasoning for grilling steaks and burgers.

I'm surprised this is still alive. We've never used this seasoning, but it seems like an easy mix for all kinds of proteins, and veges, for weeknight meals. We like to make all kinds of new recipes, but sometimes you just want an easy meal, and for the spices to be pre-mixed and ready to roll. Maybe I'll regret it, but I doubt it based on the reviews. I doubt we'll use it on high quality steak, but definitely chicken and other stuff. At $3.50 each, it's worth the experiment.
