u can get meclizine (non-drowsy) for $5. it's the active ingredient in bonine and same ingredient in the "less-drowsy" version of drammamine.

The less drowsy still put my wife to sleep on our recent fishing trip. I took two and was pretty drowsy the drive home was rough

I second this. I've been flying and road-tripping a lot lately with SO, except everything gives me motion sickness. I used to get Dramamine, then saw Walmart had a 100 ct of the generic stuff.
I just got back from a flight, 6 hour and a 8 hour road trips over Memorial Day weekend, felt great using generic. No more name brand Dramamine for me.

Was going to reply and say the same. I'm a pharmacist and these brands are milking it big time.

You can get generic meclizine 25 mg in a 100 ct bottle regular or chewable for like $5.50 on Amazon.

Don't waste your money.

Got mine at Sams too for $3. You have to ask, and if they look at the strange, go back on another day with a different pharmacist. Trust me, they have it, they just do know or are too lazy to look. Mine ran out the one day and special ordered it for me...still $3.

Lifelong vertigo sufferer here. Another vote for getting the generic from your local pharmacy. In my experience almost every place sells Meclizine (non drowsy Dramamine) in 100+ct bottles for under $10. It's the same stuff. Not sure about regular Dramamine, I think that's less commonly found but worth asking.

It can help to know the chemical names when asking the pharmacist, so they can look it up or check shelves- sometimes they don't know offhand what the "brand name" is vs the chem name:

Dramamine Non-Drowsy/Less Drowsy = Meclizine
"Regular" Dramamine = Dimenhydrinate (basically a weaker form of Benadryl)
Benadryl = Diphenhydramine
