I purchased this last time it was on sale. It's a great keyboard, however there is a known "stuck key" issue with EVGA keyboards. Mine started to have this problem immediately after unboxing it with the F key. If you have this you need to remove the key and clear off any excess plastic around the key. You need to file it down, I just used my fingernail and it has not gotten stuck since. Ill post a link below to a forum I found the fix on.

P.S. it doesn't come with the wrist pad that is in every single picture.

How loud is this? Too loud for a cubicle in an office setting?

pros: premium built quality, good responsiveness.
cons: very loud clicky sound, software(will not save your RGBs and macros).

I returned my keyboard in the same that I received it.

If I didn't already have so many keyboards, I would get the EVGA Z15 with silver switches for $60 [amazon.com] because it's hot swappable.

However, I've never used optical switches so I can't account for the feel. I do have a Womier K87 with silver Gaterons and I really enjoy the feel.

This would not be ideal. You want to find a keyboard with brown switches, which are tactile and silent.

Reading through reviews with only 67% 5 star and 19% 3 stars or less commenting on 1) louder than expected and 2) Quality issues. Doesn't sound like ideal choice but price is not terrible.

I own this keyboard (got a similar price with the matching X20 wireless mouse). The keyboard is nice and the lighting is really spectacular. I also like the macro keys and the app that controls everything. My one gripe is the plastic on the keys is very thin, giving it a "cheap" feel. It's well built and should last a long time, but if you're used to Corsair or Razor products, this may leave you disappointed.

I RMA'd 4 of these keyboards back to EVGA. Keys kept getting stuck making it impossible to use. Only after telling them to open the box and test all the keys before they send it to me, did I get one that works. Buyer Beware, you also have to provide a refundable deposit of 180+180 dollars which is refunded to you upon return, if you don't want to be left without a keyboard.

Just a little background. In the past few years, I've played with Logitech keyboards, corsair, hyper-X, ASUS, Razor, Roccat, & steel series. With that being said, I would put this on the same level of those mentioned , and above maybe 1-2 of them. When i first got this keyboard—it had a few software issues, but they have all been fixed. I think this is a great keyboard , and for this price.....it's a no-brainer. With all the other keyboards, I always had to sacrifice at least one aspect. For example, one of them had everything but the RGB was so dim it looked old, or the one had great performance but a cheap build, etc.... this does not cut any corners. The build is premium quality. It comes with a wrist pad. The RGB colors are bright and vibrant. The performance is excellent, allowing you to switch from 6key to N key setup. Comes with 5 macro keys to customize and assign to whatever function you please. And what's even better, is the TOF sensor, which will sense your motion as you approach the keyboard and as you walk away. You can set it up to where when you walk away it will lock your PC and when you approach it will unlock your PC. And lastly, the cords that it comes allows you to plug a headset directly in your keyboard, and it also has a USB slot that you can plug whatever you have into. The main plug has two other wires that split off that you plug into the back. So instead of having to switch cords down by your PC all the time, you can just plug and unplug right from your keyboard.

I've had this for a bit over a year, had a lot of different higher end logitech and corsair keyboards of all types. The one thing for me using this as a gaming keyboard is those macro keys aren't in a great location. It still throws off my reference point at times. If you can deal with that, this is a great value.

have this and really like it. the scroll wheel for the volume is my favorite feature. I really hate the kb's that have volume control with the F keys, and especially the ones that make you hold Fn to toggle between them.
