100% disagree
They're often the best bang for your buck.
The OS issue can easily be solved with another cheap device like chrome/fire…for the significant savings.

The Vizio M series is an excellent series for its quality and price range. Especially in the <65" range.

Does Vizio have the dark corners on all their TVs?

Vizio are horrible TVs I hate them just my opinion. I don't like the operating systems on them. LG or Samsung is the way to go

They used to be great. Vizio has had significant firmware issues recently. When they work, the TVs are good but I've had too many Vizio products die randomly to buy one again.

Depends on what you get. This is a quality line the M series. Their are lower series that I wouldn't buy. I'd buy an M series though and have one.

Agreed, 4 strips of backlights went out on mine 2 months out of warranty and Vizio refused to do anything. Got an LG to replace it and couldn't be happier

I've had the 65" M series for 2 years. Even though it has been buggy it's still going strong. I've never used the OS. I got a shield so never needed it. For the price and specs I don't think this TV can be beat.

Toshiba and RCA are Hisense licensed names now. Westinghouse does suck though lol.

I had a similar experience. A few months out of warranty and screen went black.

Dangit, just got this a few weeks back at Sam's Club for $369.It's a great looking TV, especially for the price, even though I have to admit it doesn't look as good during daytime as my old budget Hisense it replaced. When in a dark room though, it looks fantastic- I do have to constantly cycle through picture profiles though to find the best look for a particular movie/program.(Whereas my old Hisense I could leave it on one profile and forget it)

As for the complaints about the software/OS - I have a Roku Ultra so I haven't played around much with the apps built into the TV, but I tried to cast something from my phone to the TV and it pretty much froze it. Like, couldn't even turn it off. So yeah, I'd say stick with a streaming device if you can.

100% disagree. The problem can't be fixed that easily because one of the main issues is input switching and power!

The most recent issue automatically switched to their SmartCast home screen and not the device you turned on.

Once my last Vizio dies I will never go back. Go look at the Vizio subreddit and you'll see. I had 3 of them and their soundbar.

I moved on to LG and Sonos and they are flawless.
