I have a different shower tent. It sounded good at the time but I have never used it. If car camping then there are most likely showers. If back-country camping then there is no way anyone would want to carry it. Sometimes we car-camp at national park or state park campsites without showers but event then it is usually easier to just take a sponge bath or a quick dip in a stream... or wait a day or two until we do get to showers. It is one less thing to pack and we are not packing a tent that is most likely wet.

For a guy who doesn't really like "simulated poverty" but forced to go during summers, this is worth its weight in gold for me. Even my friends end up using it after I've set it up!

I've got one of these. I use it with my pop up tent trailer because the trailer doesn't have a bathroom. I ditched the solar shower and replaced it with a portable instant hot water unit that runs on propane. Have had it for two years with about 6 uses total. No issues.

I've also seen street and farmers market vendors use these for privacy/changing rooms.

This seems like a lot. There are smaller ones meant for a toilet or shower. They would be easier just to bring in a car. It's what I see most people use that are living out of a car or van. This is pretty deluxe for that nature. If it's for group use, sure. Individually, it's a lot of setup. I bought a shower bag to hang off my van for $15. Camco bucket toilet seats with 3 bags are $20, unless you want to use the bucket, trash bag and pool noodle method. Here's a pop-up tent with no floor for $27:

So if you just want a basic shower/toilet with privacy, you're looking at about $50 or less for everything and it all fits in a bucket, or this for $80, and no toilet, and it doesn't pop-up.

Dry it out, so you don't get mold!

Same here, did the same thing. We absolutely love this shower/changing tent. It is a complete game changer. After hiking 9 miles and going back to the campground that claimed to have hot showers...only to find out they were freezing cold. I pledged to never go camping in a tent again unless there was a hot shower.
Went out, bought this tent, coleman h2Oasis shower and a Potty/Bucket lid. This made the perfect shower/bathroom area. Great Privacy. Its awesome how the two sides close off from each other so that your dry clothes etc dont get wet.

For those whose minds are in the gutter, sometimes kids needs an adult with them while changing, showering, etc. However, this also can be used for a good poke in the pants as well.

So one person can take a dump in a bucket while the other one takes a shower out of a bag.

How well does this travel after being used? Does it take a long time to dry out? I can't imagine it's good for it or the vehicle you're transporting it in to put it away while wet

Sounds like a great idea to use it as a bathroom. I love when I fart or poop and the water makes the smell that much stronger like when I'm in the shower. I also would like to give up the idea of seeing the great outdoors and constant paranoia of being discovered with my browneye wide open to be defecate inside of a no doubt sun-kissed torture chamber that would spark flashbacks to the tiger cages of vietnam.

overall 10/10, would use again. don't need to wait for an impact verison.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing your business in those ways.

Some people who live very minimalist nomadic lifestyles who use bathroom facilities much like you described, and they are some of the happiest and least stressed people I know.

Not everyone buys the idea that we need to work like slaves to pay for apartments that we're barely in unless we're asleep because of work, commute time, etc.

If you have some time to kill, check out the channel "CheapRVLiving" on YouTube. The guy makes a lot of sense if you suspend disbelief and consider what he says.

Obviously, this is targeted more for single people or couples who have very few attachments to things like house payments, children still in school, etc.

What keeps you from standing in mud while you are showering?

I have a shower tent, but it's only been used a few times. Most of the state and federal parks in the midwest have showers. If camping remotely that involves hiking, no one is going to want to carry all that water. If you have moving water close to your camp site, this would be great. Any other time, it's more of a burden.
