Flashforge is big in FDM printers for education. We have several of their Adventure 4 models in our schools. They also make laser resin printers for dental work.

I own one of these as I got as part of a package deal and have had good luck with it. I would compare it to the Photon Mono in terms of build quality. I'm not a huge fan of the FlashDLPrint software, but It works great with Chitubox and Lychee. For this price I may get another for doing minis.

Depends on what kind of printing you plan to do. Resin is very detailed but smaller build volume and you have to deal with toxic chemicals and baths, etc. FDM gives you lots of options for print material, generally cheaper, larger build volume, and most materials are non toxic.

This could be a decent entry resin printer, if that's what you're looking for. If you're uncertain, the relatively cheap price makes this a lower risk purchase as you figure out if you like printing or not.

To add to this, nasty stuff means not wearing PPE can result in stuff like permanent blindness if you get it in your eyes. Be really careful with your first resin printer and do your homework on how to safely work with it.

I tried it and it didn't work. It's been used to many times. Waiting for an update from them then I'll update the post.

Good deal but doesn't look like I can purchase because they use PayPal for checkout.
I'm pretty sure you can use a debit card too.

$99 for a 3d printer is a pretty damn good deal. It will give you much better looking prints than an FDM printer. And those usually start out around $200.

Plus the MSRP is $245.

Don't own one, but keep in mind that 2k resolution is much worse than the standard 4k we see now and the community is likely quite a bit smaller than that of brands like Photon, which means less support when you have issues. The build size is decent at least.

Is 2k on this small of a screen that big of a hangup? I'm just starting to look at resin and it seems like most of the larger screen units top out at 4k until you drop some serious cash on them. Seems pixel density would be just about the same.

Code NCN22 gave me an additional $10 off to $89. Nice find!

I'm assuming anyone looking at this knows what they're looking at, but if you don't, watch YouTube videos on the proper handling of resin, it's some pretty nasty stuff. Also replacement screens from Flashforge look to be about $60 when it comes time for replacing 👍
