Nice, usually would say convert your string trimmer with an attachment but at this price; I think it's worth it! TU, Repped.

My string trimmer can also be used as edger. Works pretty good other then the other day I got pelted by whatever it was on my cheek. smh I always where shades. I thought about getting the Troy but just prefer my trimmer because it's battery.

Been wanting to replace out my B&D electric edger for a while since i hate lugging the ext cord around the yard. This will work perfectly, great price for a gas. Be sure to only use Ethanol free gas in these since they are used so infrequently, it'll prevent build up and longevity down the road.

Damn this is the best deal for a gas edger I have seen in 16 years ever since I was a lawn and garden equipment salesman. The best price I have seen is 4 cycle rarely went down to $150.00.

I have an edger like this and a gas stick edger. I prefer the stick edger because it's easier to use/control, faster and does a better job.

The problem with string is that it doesn't get as accurate straight line cut and the string wears out far easily than a steep blade. You kind of wasting the string and that is money $$$. I use the Poulan edger attachment with my gas craftsman trimmer and it works awesome. I also have a blower attachment and it works great too.

I have never used any battery trimmer so I don't have any experience with them or its power.

This is a very good price for a troy gas edger.

I've been looking for a new edger to replace my electric one, I think gas is the way to go unfortunately, and this is a reasonable price. I have a Troy-Bilt riding mower that has worked great for 10 years so no concerns.
