However, I discovered after buying that the included fans use 3pin-to-molex (4-pin/peripheral) connections.. boo! This means I can't control the fan speed via PWM, as they don't connect to the motherboard.. just to the power supply. The fans will run at full speed all the time.. so I'm hoping the fans are quiet. If not I may have to spend more $$ to buy fans that I could connect via 4-pin PWM connectors to fan headers on the motherboard, and perhaps keep the fans that came with the case as spares for a future system.
I bought this from Amazon and the product listing didn't mention they were 3 pin fans... but it also didn't say they were PWM either. When I checked Cooler Master's website, the product listing for N400 indicates the fans are 3-pin. So I would have seen that if I had checked the Cooler Master website. I still probably would have bought the case anyway, because there are not many cases I could find costing less than $100 that store more than four 3.5" drives. The N400 case also has a dust filter on the inside of the case, right below the power supply. So to change the dust filter, you would need to remove the power supply??? It is such a pain to install a power supply in the first place, I don't see anyone ever removing that to clean the dust filter.. so I removed the dust filter and am considering taping it to the outside of the chassis. That way when the power supply pulls in cool air from outside the case, maybe the dust filter (on the outside) will help filter a bit and keep some dust out.
Still waiting for a few more parts to arrive (motherboard, RAM, power supply) but believe all should arrive in time for this weekend. At that point I'll know if there are other issues, but I don't think there will be more surprises unless there is an issue with the case (like power button not working or something odd like that). My advice for folks considering Cooler Master cases is to carefully review the specifications so you know exactly what you are getting. Happy building!

I had major audio issues with AMD's audio driver over HDMI, and this is coming from someone who never has such issues. I kept having to disable it in Device Manager and use Microsoft's Basic Driver. I would rather grab a cheap 11600K or 12400, even if it means paying a bit more overall.
