So why is it that ms has no supply issues for almost 6 month but Sony cannot fix their supply problem even today?
Are you asking to compare Microsoft and Sony? Microsoft is like 7-10x the company Sony is. They have more pull and more talented people running their supply chain operations and business

How badly is Sony eating Microsoft's lunch in this generation? I literally don't know a single person who owns or wants the new Xbox. I love my PS5. I wasn't expecting such a large difference between the PS4 and PS5, but it's pretty noticeable

actually Xbox been outselling ps5 LMAO and is more powerful so will keep overtaking ps5 more and more all generation. my bro in law got ps5 it's hugggggeeee no amount of pictures can prepare you lol. which is fine if it had power but to be huge and weak is just terrible engineering (shoutout to xbox one lol). also all ps5 got coil whine since they to overclock it so much to not fall even further behind xbox power. love my series x, no issues at all ever, quiet etc. plus i am not into sjw games starring purple haired thesbians (sony)

ps5 more demand, plus sony had to overclock the ps5 too far or risk falling even further behind and are now struggling with production is my guess. or it could be a case of paying for scarce chips and ms has more money, but that would be kinda weird since ps is more profitable than xbox and last year it was said sony was outbidding ms for chips.

only 185k more bing rewards points to earn, before i can finally buy one! or even less to save $40 on a refurb XD

..now if someone would just buy the new one i bought from best buy
I've got $200 in Bing points and $30 on my MS account from Gamestop points. I wonder if I should jump at this now or just keep saving points. Any thoughts?

Peace

I wouldn't say there are no supply issues, this seems to come and go. It was like this last year and then in my experience last fall I had multiple opportunities to get a PS5 but the Xbox was damn near impossible. I wound up getting a bundle at Gamestop because I wanted one and thought it wouldn't be hard. Then a month later it reversed again.

Sony certainly appears to have gotten more consoles in hands to date than MS, so it's pretty weird to point a finger at them for supply side issues.

I have all 3 current gen consoles and a gaming rig with a 3070... The Xbox gets more playtime than all the rest put together.

It's just that much better of an experience with everything they have put into it. Still a ton of fanboys on all sides, but every single person I know that has multiple likes Xbox the best.

hahah well i suppose that depends on how badly you want an xbox series x vs. how little you want to pay out of pocket for it Wink

Because the PS5 is more popular than the Series X. I'm not saying it's better by any means, I'm just saying Series Xs have been starting to come into stock pretty regularly, whereas it's still tough to find a PS5.

I wound up getting a Total Tech program membership which extends the warranty on most purchases (while membership active) so that helps a bit and I'd prefer to get from Best Buy if able.
Costco has been having them available recently.
