You must not live in hot weather. I use that side burner instead of my stove when I don't want to heat the house. Used my side burner today to boil water for pasta

Yes sir, based on the cost of heating my home by cooking and having to run the ac to offset it, the cost of electricity in California, the fact I fill my propane by the gallon and the efficiency of my older model ac, it's cheaper for me. It wasn't exact calculations, but my summer electricity bill went down and my propane bill went up by far less.

How is this grill? How does it compare to the $120 one at target?

This one appears to have a side burner. That's one key difference.

Realistically you're never gonna use the side burner. But having said that, this is essentially a 5 burner for under $200 - a good deal no matter how you look at it.

Solid grill, I'd definitely get this and happily put my meat on it but the current grill is working just fine but otherwise, great deal

Nice idea but did you actually do a cost comparison? Maybe you are paying more by using the grill to heat water?

Dude... you sound like my uncle.
Lord was that man cheap.
He would look over his glasses so he wouldn't wear them out... If his wife got the hiccups he would rent her out to a glass-blower.
