Yes sir, based on the cost of heating my home by cooking and having to run the ac to offset it, the cost of electricity in California, the fact I fill my propane by the gallon and the efficiency of my older model ac, it's cheaper for me. It wasn't exact calculations, but my summer electricity bill went down and my propane bill went up by far less.
This one appears to have a side burner. That's one key difference.
Realistically you're never gonna use the side burner. But having said that, this is essentially a 5 burner for under $200 - a good deal no matter how you look at it.

Nice idea but did you actually do a cost comparison? Maybe you are paying more by using the grill to heat water?

I ain't rich to run up the electricity bill. Cooking outside makes it more affordable for me, no need to money shame me.
