I'm a simple man. I see a golf slick deal, I buy a golf slick deal. Luckily they are far and few between or else I'd be broke.

Bought this at the same price last year when it went on sale. This is a really helpful tool to improve your swing when used correctly. When the club reaches the top of your backswing, make sure to rotate and lead with the hips to get maximum flex in the shaft and get it to make the whipping sound just after the bottom of the swing. This is what I do and it has helped a ton to generate more lag in my swing and more distance.

Lag doesn't mean you're swinging faster, it means you're swinging in the proper mechanical sequence. If you already have that mastered, you need to swing lighter clubs faster to increase your swing speed. That's been proven over and over again by swing professionals.

It's not supposed to hit you when swung correctly. This is one of the ways it's letting you know that your swing needs work.
