I bought the xb33 from secondipity on the last deal, and it came in like new condition. The sound quality was pretty good, but was really quiet for it's size. Maybe I was expecting too much from it, but my old little JBL flip seems like it gets just as loud if not louder, and it's half the size. I was going to send it back, but my wife threw away all the packaging, So I just gave it to one of my kids to use as a spare beach speaker.

The only one left (the XB43) is a MUCH bigger speaker than the Flip series. I would say the Sony is a much better deal, but it may not be ideal for your use-case if you're looking for a highly portable speaker.

I've had an XB30 for years that has been virtually indestructible. It fell out of our tube during a river float and was floating down the river, and it still turned back on once it dried off. Really pleased!

Commenting on the x43 itself, I got one last year as a gift and am super disappointed. The battery life is poor, 2-4 hours at "high" volume.. which isn't even that high. The mids are muddy and the lows are nonexistent(passive woofers do nothing). For the premium Msrp, this thing doesn't live up in any way. Also it's heavy for no reason other than to feel "premium". Avoid this POS
