So all in all I have GPU til June 2025 at the tune of $89. I had a previous free trial so I lost out on the $1 conversion. I could've saved another $15 if I'd figured out the recurring billing promo in the beginning. Not as slick as others but works out to be around $2.50 a month for GPU.
Then you head to your Xbox account to redeem code, each and every time you enter a code for 3 months, you turn on recurring billing to get an extra month
Recurring billing can be turned off any time, right?
When you enter all codes and have your GOLD for 36 months, then you can get a 1:1 ration of converting to Ultimate Gamer Pass for $14.95 (if you have had Ultimate before) or cheaper if you have not?
Just making sure I do this right without jacking things up for my son HAHA

Added, turned on recurring, turned off recurring, repeat until I got 36 months. Converted to GPU for $14.99.

Wait until you are expired and get 120 days worth of GPU for around $7 or $8, but you will have to pay the $15 to join GPU again.
Or don't wait and get 50 days worth of GPU for the same $ added to your already active GPU.
You are allowed to choose either. The best bang for your buck is to expire, stack 3 years and then convert to GPU. 3 years for under $75.
