This is true. That's why I'm ordering it now (or earlier). 😂 It's limited time and might not be here next week, and the e-cards are almost forever.
The way I see it is that the store I use most--Publix--basically upcharges 10% for pickup via Instacart, like 99 cent carrots for $1.09. So $100 for $90 is a break-even deal for me, not to mention saving time and avoiding impulse buys, and anything better than that (like the $85 deal) is a nice bonus.

Costco same-day is also less upcharge than ordering through Instacart directly.
I still think Instacart is still worth it for other stores especially when the upcharge/tip can be reduced with these deals. Keep them coming!
I've never seen a fee when ordering Costco thru Instacart as a Costco member.

I just checked 3 days ago when placing an order. When I was checking out on instacart, I actually got a pop-up saying same day at Costco has better prices. I checked two random items in my order against Costo same day and instacart items were both 8% higher priced. Not to mention any other service fees that might exist.
