Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

5S supports 4G, though.
It might be 4g data but not voice therefore 911 won't work. At least that's what I'm thinking.

I put my SIMs into my old 5 series iPhones and they all showed up in my account correctly within an hour, but still no full value offer. Only $100/ea on trade in value.

Okay first obviously I wasn't in store past midnight 😂

Login to account. Find device. Upgrade current device. Select trade in, then select trade in another device (one that's not on your account). Bingo. All done.

Thanks! I went through to the last step where imei is needed, but it said $100 trade in credit for me. I specified an iPhone 5 using trade in another device not on account. I guess it's still ymmv.

I still have a 3G device on one of my lines and keep getting "offers" to upgrade, but when I click the links they go nowhere. Same with this link. I'm on a grandfathered SC plan though, so that might be why.
Still, give them a call. They can help you get more details and placing the order if you're qualified.

Hmm, try putting sim card into device. Soft reset and use it for a few hours (send a few texts and calls) and repeat process. I didn't have to do this but it should appear on your T-Mobile page once you use the device on the account shortly thereafter.

Best of luck. Hope this works for you.

Ah unfortunately the device is from another carrier not T-Mobile. But thanks for the suggestion!

I don't see why a device that old wouldn't be unlocked for any carrier by now. But you're welcome either way.

I ordered with a rep over the phone. Was charged $35 upgrade support charge plus tax. The EIP says the phone is $399.99. I'm guessing $30 of the $430 trade value was applied to the purchase. Logging on to my account, the promo is already attached, which is a big improvement from before where your promo doesn't show up until they receive and process your trade. I remember couple of times before I had to jump through hoops over a couple of months to get the promo applied when I did mail in trade.

That's luck, I talked to 3 reps and they said the older iPhones are only 100$ off. The get up to 400 off is a trade in on newer devices.
