  1. Login to your qualifying T-Mobile account w/ an eligible line
  2. Purchase a new T-Mobile 64GB Apple iPhone SE 3rd Gen 5G Smartphone on a monthly payment plan
    • Sales tax on the pre-credit price will be due at checkout today.
  3. Trade-in your eligible 3G device (that is currently in use on your eligible line) in good condition:
    • Devices eligible for $430 in Trade-In Credit (applied over 24 months):

Don't have any 3G device. Best I have is an unlocked iPhone 5S; I have a spare line and popped the sim card and put it in the 5S. No deal going through my account to see if I can upgrade the device. Let's see if I get any text within a couple of days

I put my free line SIM into my old 5S.
I was able to go thru upgrading my free line with $429.99 TIV.
(not to complete it, but I want to take it to store for them to do it there, just in case they're having problem with tradein)

So i chatted with tforce and they got the promo added to an extra line i had and i didnt need an active 3G phone on it. Gave them the IMEI of an old 4S and they said it was completely eligible. I kinda am worried once they get the phone they will say no since it wasnt active on the line. Also, it might be a sprint one from years ago. Thoughts?

Currently on Magenta 1.0 family plan. I inserted sim to iPhone 3g 16gb into one of the free line yesterday, however my T-Mobile account now shows iphone XS 64gb as the device for this line, but with the correct IMEI associated to the iPhone 3g device. I tried to reach out to the T-Force via FB messenger but with no luck. According to T-Force, this is a targeted promo and they don't want people to game the system, wtf? Just curious how everyone is able to do this, especially when the system show an incorrect device and there is no way for us or T-Mobile to change the device, at least according to the representative.
