Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

Lmao you have a lot of patience holding onto an iphone 5 or earlier
Yeah, it's my mom's phone. I was waiting till July hoping for something better than the Nord, otherwise I would have gotten that. I'm still rocking my Note 8, which is working as good as day one. Not in a hurry to dump another grand on a phone when mine still works great.

Yeah, I guess. Over 120 replies makes this too much to read.

I happened to just be calling about a billing question, and I asked the TMo rep about it. She told me yes there's a promotion for 3G phone users for $430 off. I did not mention any specific offer. I actually do have a line with a 5s and placed an order.

I was charged sales tax plus $30. My EIP is showing the SE3 a price of $399.99, so it looks to me it's $400 with the trade and not $430, unless it's a upgrade fee or whatever. Not sure but it's good enough for me.
The EIP is the price of the device minus the trade in value. Does your 5S have a trade in value of $30?

Shot down via Messenger. I re-activated my iPhone 4 on my account yesterday. It was active on my account last year but I replaced it with another device until yesterday. Rep said my account was not eligible for the P038 promo. I am on T-Mobile One with Plus.

I am going to leave the iPhone 4 active and see if anything changes over the next couple of weeks. Would really like to score this deal.

Edit: Does anyone have a copy of the email or text if they were sent this offer? The rep said maybe she can help if I had an image of that offer. I guess I can try the images in the wiki if nobody else has any targeted email or text image.

Would it be worth replacing the screen on an old 5?

Put in sim inside iphone 5c. No promo offer during login and no go for me. Contacted t force and they said eligible customers should have received a text prior to this promotion going live
I have two sims and 2 5c phones. I popped the new sims in the old phones and get activated briefly, but show no service on both phones. I was able to make a call on each before they crapped out. Now they show up in my account as 5c lines. So I'll wait and see what happens next I guess. Both phones are still not functional as of right now.

Would you able to switch sim-card and use this trade-ins phone as active line, the next day you would be offer for this promotion?

Thanks Op, was able to call 611 and do it over the phone with ease. The activity in my account showed that i did a "Device Recovery Offer"

I wonder what criteria they use to consider an account eligible. Frustrating that I have an active iPhone 4 on my account and do not qualify for this promo. Maybe I need to try a different rep but it seems like the account has to be targeted as eligible.
