Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used another line that has no EIP, went on chat and got approved for the offer.
In summary: did not get targeted, plug sim into an old iPhone 5, went through chat and ask for P038 2022 UTMS Apple upgrade P1, got the offer, iphone 5 trade in value as 0$

Paid $35 service fee and $29 in sales tax

My only problem is that when I plug in the SIM, the system shows it as white 64GB and the rep used that to calculate the 0$ trade in value. The actual phone is space gray black 16 GB. Atleast the rep put down the correct IMEI. I will bring the trade-in into a store and see if they accept it.

Edit: chat with rep and was told that it will be fine as long as the IMEI match what they have on the system 😓
See my post above, I had a similar experience with you, but got the promo in the end.

Completed the purchase yesterday and the rep confirmed that the P1 promo was attached to my account.

I check this morning and it shows: Promotion: 2022 Apple Trade P7
Should I reach out now to get iti changed/fixed or wait till I receive the new phone?

It's not that difficult. You're reading way too deep into this and passing on a nearly free iPhone based on recent experiences mostly from newbs who sometimes complicate things. You do you, but before you make a final decision, here's the reality of how it works:

Call 611 to order a new iPhone. Get a rep to apply the P038 promo in the order notes. Provide IMEI of 3g iPhone you're trading. After new phone is delivered, mail trade-in device. Wait for promo to post. It will be P7. Tweet Tforce to manually correct promo to P1 as promised. Sit back and wait for P1 to show on account correctly in about 2 weeks.

That's it. Boom, (almost) free iPhone. It's not complicated and not much time invested for a $430 credit. Just my opinion.
Will it usually take 2 weeks for the promo to show after talking to Tforce? Been a week for me so hoping to see if next week.

It's interesting that you can see it. I don't see it on any of the few lines I did the upgrade. But I ask via chat if they see the promo (correct promo), they say yes.
My account was targeted and throughout the checkout process it shows the correct promo and discount $430 so i am not too worry.

Here's my story:

called yesterday after plugging in my iPhone 5 and sim. I called a rep (in the us) and she had to research the promotion, but took the imei and said I was eligible, even though it wasn't showing online when ordering. She assured me the promotion would apply within one or two pay cycles. I proceeded and received the docusign for the equipment agreement. The docusign didn't reflect anything about the promotion, and I again mentioned this concern to the rep, and assured me again it would take effect after two bill cycles. I proceeded and checked online today and not surprisingly, no promotion is tied to the new phone order, and it states I'll pay the full price per month. Reached out to t force on twitter and they stated I'm not eligible for the promotion and gave me the option to cancel the order, or pay full price. I decided to call in again and an overseas rep answers. She looks at my order and didn't see anything on the account about the promotion. She then asked me about it and I provided her with the promotion offer and she locates it. I then receive the same information from this rep as the one I spoke to yesterday, stating the promotion will be applied in one or two bill cycles.

So here I am debating if I should risk one or two bill cycles, which will be past the phones return window, or if I should just return the phone when I receive it…

anyone have any luck getting promotions applied after two bill cycles?

Ok. Not a good sign. I was targeted (e.g. checked out with $430offer online) and was promised by TForce that the credit will kick in in 1-2 billings. It doesn't help the situation when the store clerk redid my trade-in because TMobile s system had the color wrong. Lol

Depends on the reps at T-Force. What did they tell you? Go by that and follow up if it does not get resolved.

They gave me an approximate time frame when it would be manually fixed, and it took about two weeks from start to finish.

Some here have had it resolved immediately. Others are still waiting for a resolution. YMMV.

Try calling the CSR, they should be able to credit you both the fees or at least the service charge.
