I ordered 3 iPhones SE for free trading in 3 old iPhone 5s that I had. Contacted a T-force rep who fixed the P1 promo and I see now the full credits for the 3 phones. Also, I asked another t-force rep to unlock the 3 phones and she did with no questions asked.
So yes, I am happily locked with them for 2 years, but in a great and cheap plan
Got to the post office and the clerk saw assurant on the label and said it can't go in an airplane. So it will take longer to get to the warehouse in Texas.
I hope it doesn't get lost
Although I was told by T-Force P1 was applied it still be shows P7. I was told it should update on my next bill.
However I have it in writing from 4 different reps that I'm eligible.
Hopefully if it isn't fixed on the next bill they will just credit the balance and close the EIP.
I understand that the promotion may be over. But why T-Mobile sent me text message yesterday?

First 2 chats through the T-Mobile app said my account didn't qualify.
3rd chat wasn't able to complete the order and told me to call 611.
4th chat successfully processed order and made sure the P1 promo was applied.
Phone ships and P7 promo shows up in my account.
Contacted T-Force on twitter and asked for the correct promo. They were adamant they couldn't switch promos and offered me $50 credit. I said no. They mentioned I was within the return period but I said I already mailed in my trade-in. They then offered $150 credit. I see where this is going with incremental credits so I just outright ask for $330 credit and keep the current P7 promo. They agreed and $330 credit showed up in my account within a few minutes.
Each of the T-Mobile app chats were over an hour long and the Twitter chat was 3 hours long.
Good luck to the rest of you.
- first chat says I'm eligible, sets up the trade-in for P1
- trade in successful, like a lot of people here, P7 gets applied instead
- message T-Force 5 times, over an hour each time, each time they say they'll fix it, of course they don't
- finally on the 5th time, they apply the $330 credit after arguing back and forth, with me sending multiple screenshots of the promised P1/$430 credit
what I've learned; when they say it'll fix it in the next '1-2 billing cycles,' you can basically take that to mean never going to happen

I recently re added a phone back to my account that I had already paid off and now it is showing as 23 payments remaining. They also owe me $36 for an activation fee they promised to refund a week ago.
