Great price but I am not a fan of this flavor/roast. I like the crema ones a lot better. But if this flavor speaks to you, price is worth it.

i've blended these (lavazza) beans with starbucks french roast beans in 50-50 ratio to resolve the issue you mention with good results for espresso.

I bought this last time it was on sale. It was close to the expiration date and the coffee flavor was terrible.

Same here. Hoping for a good deal on the Aroma e Crema that most people seem to hate. It is my favorite.

Great news for me! I love espresso and really didn't care for crema.. I wasnt sure why it had such hype? Maybe I had a bad batch.

this is a good price considering i believe i paid a bit more at costco months back. this one is alright, smooth. it doesnt have the smokey bold dark roast tho, which i like.

Agree, the Gran Crema is much better. This one, which I bought last time, is pretty flat. But then I'm jaded, been pulling my own shots for over 30 years now......yikes I'm old!

thats what i do with the french dark roast from sf bay.

i hear so much good things about the super crema, that is going to be the next flavor ill get even when it cost double-triple the price.

I find that buying these from Amazon is always a toss up in freshness. They don't include a roasted date but generally the Best Buy date is 6-12 months from the roast date. Depending on the type of brew made it might not matter, but these are a pain to dial in the grinder for espresso. Had two bags from different dates require significantly different grind settings.

The Crema E Aroma was $15 and change on S&S for me. Reviews are good, except for the rocks! Yikes.

I'm usually a fan of the Super Crema. It's not the "best" but it's easily available and fairly consistent so I don't have to keep redialing in my machine very often between bags; however the price of Super Crema on Amazon has gone up 30% since the last bag I bought a few months ago!
