This is my favorite Lavazza coffee for espresso. The espresso has no crema but it tastes great in milk drinks. Best bang for the buck IMO.

This is why I'm hesitant to get a bag for espresso. I'm starting to enjoy straight shots, so lack of crema kinda sounds like the beans would be too old for enjoying without milk.

It has no Robusta beans, only Arabica. Robusta provides crema but can taste a little harsh. The Gran Crema coffee, also on sale, has some Robusta.

How about we let people voice their opinion to save others the disappointment of tasting this Espresso Italiano. Isn't that what reviews are all about? I purchase Lavazza all the time and Espresso Italiano is the only one I definitely would not buy again.

That said... the other Lavazza on that same Amazon page (Super Crema) is one of my favorites and it has the same 25% off coupon. It is a couple of bucks more, but well worth it.

I guess you'll need to try and find your own favorite.
