There's an old, short anime series to this if anyone is interested. I 1st saw the anime before seeing the film & it made the film significantly more meaningful.

Great movie. Probably the best 4k movie I have seen visually with my setup. Best atmos mix so far is Ready Player One, especially the first race scene, and Dune coming in second probably.

This movie far surpassed my expectations to the point where I'm considering picking up the actual 4K

Anybody know if this includes the storyboards for the potential sequels? I mean it would kind of suck if it did right? Because that would be a Surefire way of saying we're not getting a sequel

I pulled the trigger. Also recently picked up Dune which I hear is a great 4K disk release too. I was really hoping to be done with physical media, but with a nice setup there's definitely a gap (especially in the sound department).

Me too. I actually thought I was only ordering the 4K UHD (*and* I had $0.33 coupon available).
Well, it got delivered this afternoon and it is Blu-Ray 3D *and* 4K UHD. (I would've still bought it if didn't have Blu 3D, but this is still an extra bonus). All for $8.99.
