What's Woot's return policy on computers?

Looking at that M1 MBP. Good deal but only 90-day warranty.

The 8GB/512GB MBP for $1000 is the only decent deal here among MacBooks. It's actually a very good deal if you are in the market. The big unknown, of course, is the condition and the (lack of) warranty.

I would agree except statistically everything increased in value 8.6% including used Macs.

There isn't really any good deal here, price wise. Although I have really good experience with Woot. So if you like something, do order, as Woot has decent return policy.

Any experience with buying "refurbished" products? Not sure what to expect.

Also does anyone know if their "Deal of the Day" item price(s) change at the end of the day or do they typically last until the listing "ends" date?

Thanks for any info.

$350 for a 2017 MacBook Pro is kinda insane 🙂 if your budget is tight that's a great deal

I think either the 256GB or 512GB M1 MBP is a great deal.

In my experience, Apple doesn't ever ask for proof-of-purchase for warranty coverage, only "in service date", which you can see yourself when you look at your Apple account after you login to the machine via iCloud. Worst case, 90-day warranty. Best case, the full 1-year.

Anyone actually ever bought a refurb Mac from Woot before? Is it Woot doing the refurb, or are you getting a sealed refurb from Apple in their standard white/refurb box?

Not sure, purchased M1 2020 16/256Gb on eBay for $1100 in December 2021 for the mint condition and small piece of warranty. So $999 doesn't sound nice for items with scratches and bends

We don't know if has scratches and bends. I seem to recall people getting Mac refurbs from Woot that were 'refurbed by Apple' meaning they look like new.

yeah, it was mentioned for some iPads only - Scratch and Dent. Actually this price is fine, but for me is like the price that I can find on eBay or during regular sale.

considering a 2015 mbp for my sister as she's going back to school and my 2015 to this day still performs flawlessly

Does anyone know how badly beat up these are?
