FYI opening the card will hit your credit score for about 15 points which will rebound in 3 months. I have opened probably over 30 credit cards. This should not be a concern.
Just got approved. But how do I check to see if the offer got tagged in and is there any tracking of the spending requirement for the points visible to the user?
I doubt it but it wouldn't apply to me given I just opened the card 3 weeks ago would it? It didn't even mention points a the point of sign up then either.
If you cancel before one year they claw back the points, if you already spent them they might charge money as a fee instead.
This is someone who knows what they are talking about. 100% correct. Not only will they do what is quoted above, you will likely enter into their "Do not Approve list"
Newbie question
Do signing up gives u a hard pull?
Also can I pay off another card with this?
Once again the hard pull is ymmv, but most data points indicate if you already have an Amex and in their good books, only the first card you ever owned is a hard pull, every other card after that is a soft pull.
And no you cannot pay another card with this. Even if were possible, it would not be a good strategy.

It pays for itself, amex insurance alone is worth it for me. Used my warranty for my Xbox. So far this credit card has given me money.

Will they effect any negative way to credit bureaus. when we close the card.
Is the yearly fee up front or at the end of the year?

It looks like the $120 annual dining benefit in $10 monthly credit is limited to certain resturants / chains.
Please see screenshot. This was from the AMEX Gold Card benefits page.
