I have the $300 per year plan with 8GB data and I've been on the phone with customer service. They wont change my data to 16GB. I was on the phone with them 35min to argue. I asked for a supervisor and they hung up. I'm not giving up though.

8GB rolls over, the bonus 8GB doesn't.
also fyi, the rollover only lasts a month. you cant accrue over months, which is dumb. telco companies really got us by the balls.

i seriously doubt that will be the case. they said the same thing with the 8gb plan 5 years ago. but it does make me wonder if i should port out now, a month early, just to get on this plan.
If you are worried about the promo expiring, just place the order now. You have 26 days to activate/add funds to the account, so you should be able to stay on your existing plan for almost 4 more weeks.

I am a postpaid customer and I would like to get this 16gb prepaid offer
Can I order the sim and create the prepaid account along with my postpaid of course with a temporary number?
Would I get the 16Gb?
After I will port out my number from my postpaid and I will keep my prepaid 16gb account only with my temp number
After my postpaid account is cancelled and few days later I can port in my main number to this prepaid
Would this scheme work to retain the 16gb ?

you will need to port out from
postpaid onto t mobile
prepaid as above

if you cancel your att plan you will not be able to port your number over

porting your number onto t mobile prepaid will cancel your postpaid plan immediately

I understand that I need to port out but I am wondering if I can create the prepaid account and get the 16gb of data while I am maintaining my post paid account?
I want to be sure that my new prepaid account got the 16gb of data with a temp number
and then I can port out my post paid number to another company and port it in after few days

Does anybody know alternate area code works in the same ZIP? For example in see temp number availability for ,415 but nothing in 628 which is my current number. Both map to same ZIP code. So any issues in porting this to my account after I activate temp number

AT&T says it's $25 charge to change your number. That should be included in the list of instructions. Followed the instructions to get deal and now have a less slick deal cause of the $25 fee that I have to pay to not loose my number.
