I have the $300 per year plan with 8GB data and I've been on the phone with customer service. They wont change my data to 16GB. I was on the phone with them 35min to argue. I asked for a supervisor and they hung up. I'm not giving up though.

I was concerned as well when I signed up. The first month will show exactly like you've stated. When you check your high speed amount the 2nd month, if you still have 8GB left over, from then on you will have one line showing 16GB +8GB bonus provided that you roll over 8GB a month otherwise you will always start out with 8GB Discount Reward Data (which is used first) and then whatever you have left over of the 16GB from previous month will be rollover.

I have never even gone over the 8GB of discount data used since I have wifi in most places therefore I roll over 16GB a month which effectively gives me 24GB for that month. Again, if I did use all 24GB of high speed data, the next month I would start out again with just the 8GB + 8GB until I have leftover roll over data.

Can someone advise what can I expect if I choose physical SIM? Do I have to wait for the SIM to ship before the account is setup? I don't have any experience with eSIM, is that quicker to activate and setup?

Wife has this with 16gb Service works great. Mexico data coverage is outstanding in cancun and pv. Best deal for 16gb. They did bill full amount and taxes in texas. Around $324 total.

Looks like ATT is rolling out 5G on this plan. I have 5G now on my iPhone 13 & Samsung Galaxy S22 and I don't see a significant speed increase. Some have also reported [reddit.com]they are seeing 5G+ in their prepaid plan.

my service was about to end anyway, so after a lot of headache (mostly my fault) I ended up porting to tmobile for a few days on their $10 plan...will port back in to att shortly.

I am moving my number from Mint to ATT Prepaid. I activated per the instructions and it said the SIM is activated. However, I am not able to create an account and the temp password is not coming through. I am not able to make or receive calls either. To top it, I am not able to reach customer care either. Any had this issue? How do i go about activating the number on ATT?

Did you tick the box that you are bringing your number from mint when you ordered the sim online?

Any idea how to get to a customer care human? Their auto system is driving me nuts! I am not able to get to a human. It keeps saying ICCD is activated, but my old phone number is not recognizable by the system. Is there any way to find out what was the temp number assigned when I activated the SIM?

One other question, is it possible to back off from the deal since i did not setup prepaid account yet to make the payment. However i did activate the SIM.
