It's pretty great except the sides scratch up pretty easily, this model looks like it might scratch less which would make it even nicer.
Picked up the 28" of the Winfield model for the family back in 2017. Just had to retire mine when the body of it cracked on a domestic flight. I think the plastic on Omni model is superior to the Winfield. And the rougher exterior hasn't scratched as badly. It scratches other things.
For other people who didn't know, if you notice that the airline damaged your bag during travel, you can file a claim for which they will often compensate you [thepointsguy.com]. Wish I'd known this at the time. All I got was a $75 United TravelBank credit.
