Easy for an average handy person. The only thing you will need to buy about $150-250 in tools to do it right. Mostly just a vacuum pump, and guage set and adapter.
This is absolutely not true for most cases. Usage is billed by kWh, not kAh.

The utilities aren't that dense.

If you don't have a drill already, you probably aren't capable of installing this yourself. Now a 3" hole saw, not everyone has.

I bought a 9k Bosch 22 Seer 110V on sale from Spreetree a few months ago. Bosch 110V 9k air handlers have been dc. Could I use the air handler of this one?

FYI this is only $35 lees than Senville on eBay after the 15% off coupon that expires on 6/19. They added a 10% extra coupon so ~ same price now.

I bought it. So I'll answer my own ? in a couple weeks.

The computer board of the heat pump died in 2 years. Not worth repairing.

*sigh* I really hate this website sometimes.

In for one. Building a basement office and this will do nicely to keep the temps just right in there. It's oversized for the size of the room but 9k BTU seems to be the smallest you can go. I'll just have to keep an eye on how long it runs to avoid short cycling it.

You can borrow the Vacuum pump from a auto parts store and buy the gauge set from homedepot for under $30. I believe that if you buy the guage set you dont need the adapter
