This is very nice and I think it's a good chance to apply. $200 is the maximum sign-up bonus so far for this card.
It has regularly $50-$150 sign-up bonus but $200 is usually offered at only limited times every year.

approved but with a 500 credit limit. probably because i have 8 chase cards and i just got the jetblue barclays biz 2 weeks ago.

Does anyone know if the standing of your account - the age of the account, returns ratio, whether you are on Prime Trial - affects the decision?

Or it is entirely based on your credit?

Call them. I got a similar message on two other cards before, and both times it was some dumb automated issue, like failure to verify address, which was easily resolved by talking to a person.

I unfroze my Equifax report for a day and applied. I got approved. Had similar experience a year ago with another Chase card, they initially said that they are looking into my application and need extra time. I called them and they said they can't access my Equifax report most likely due to a freeze. Unfreezing for a day did the job.

I just called customer service. They said they use all 3 credit agencies, so I would have to remove the block on all three.

I use my friend's Prime and applied for this with a response that they'll get back to me in 30 days. I have 800+ credit but do have my credit reports frozen. I wonder if that's my issue. Really want this card. Will fix and report back.

Was able to unfreeze all three bureaus. Equifax was particularly fussy. Will call Chase to see if they can reprocess.
