Got this text message an hour ago. looks like they are making changes to their 5 for 100 plan. time to shop for new plans now.


Cricket Free Msg: Starting [July 20], your rate plan price will change. The average price per line on your account will be $26.00/mo. instead of $20.00/mo. Visit a Cricket store or https://www.cricketwireless.com/RatePlans to learn about other Cricket rate plans that may offer a better value for you. If you stay on your current plan, the monthly price for line 4 will be $20 instead of $10 and line 5 will be $20 instead of $0.

so unlimited for $125 for 5 lines or $130 for 10GB. Why would unlimited be cheaper?

so they can move everyone to unlimited and raise the unlimited price to $150. this is what AT&T did a couple of years back and cricket is owned by AT&T so I guess they are following the same footsteps.

I only need to keep 4 lines. My parents don't really use much data. So i need two with unlimited and 2 with not so much.
I can do 2 for 55 plus tmobile plan. Maybe 2 with google fi plan.

Depends on how many lines you have. If only one or two then the 10gb still cheaper

You can shop but there aren't many better options that I've found on a real network like ATT. If you want to go TMobile network then can prob save a few bucks or if you want to complicate life with a deep discount MVNO with bad deprioritization

I was with cricket for 6 years then moved to Visible 6 months before. $25 per month with party set up is very good deal. We have very good Verizon and AT&T network in our area. 5G speeds and no calling issues so far using Visible (Verizon).

visible is better as long you have the account number and pin before hand
dont expect to talk to someone but you really only need that when porting your number
afterwards you sign up for party pay and its that simple
and porting out of visible is easy to
to be fair i brought my own phone and used esim
also i didnt use any of visibles promotions except party pay

Nope. I have this plan and it does not come with hotspot. You will have to buy that as an add on.
