I know 2 years warranty is included by just buying from costco but not sure about the 2 additional years.

Don't underestimate Chromebooks. Everyone loves to poo-poo them until you've used a top-of-the-line or even simply higher-end one.
Yes, low-end versions are pretty puny, but give it some hardware and it is a very capable platform for certain users that know what they're looking for.
