My mom's Insignia air fryer that she loved was part of a Best Buy recall. Been looking for a good price on a stainless steel digital air fryer and the price on this is great! Ordered and hope she likes it!

I returned my Insignia 3.2 quart mechanical air fryer and I just shipped it back after they sent me a shipping box. Dropped it off at the UPS store. I got my $50 gift card in the email like 2 weeks later. Very easy. I paid like $29.99 sale for it and they gave me a $50 gift card. This is a 6 quart, digital and I have like $15 extra on the gift card. I am considering this as this is a much better spec and has much higher customer reviews.

Some of the reviews say that even though it's suppose to be a "6 qt" air fryer, the fryer basket is actually smaller and has less surface area than the 5/5.5qt recalled insignia air fryers 😑

The fryer basket has more height than width

No drip basket like my older Insignia. It uses a drip tray so it will fall out if you pour fries out. Just scoop food out or use tongs. However it will be much easier to clean than the drip basket. I remember cleaning all the crevices of the drip basket that would get lot of stuck on grease with the Insignia. I never tried those air fryer disposable liners.

The steel part doesnt feel sturdy , rather plasticky when i tried in store.

Just FYI, these really deep, rather than wide, air fryers save space, but suck for single layer cooking. For example, chicken wings or burgers. But if you want to cook something like a whole small chicken, these would be better.
