if you're budget gaming and want a larger screen for immersion, this is a good compromise. pixels are much less noticeable when gaming or watching movies. also, it's $140.

if you need to see a lot of words/numbers at once (coding, spreadsheets, etc), then yeah you'll see pixels, and this monitor wouldn't be for you.
1080p you're going to see pixels

Great reply.

Watch movie YouTube from a bit farther than reading? Won't notice pixels just like a tv. Good use.

Work, read article, excel, word? Will see Tons of pixel and won't be a good use for it.
will be a good use for people who needs reading glassesSmilie

I have one and used for 2 years. Not bad at all. Infact very good except the support is not steady and will wobble.

You are missing the point.
32" screen with 1080p is basically not for reading. It has nothing to do with eyesights.
The point is that you will see pixels. With glass or not, a person with great eyesight, you will see pixels of the texts that you are reading and that is why this monitor is not ok, again, for reading.

Again, this has nothing to do with reading glasses/eyesights.

I've had 2 of these as my side monitors (one on each side of my 34 inch super wide) for nearly 2 years now and over all I LOVE them. For the price you won't find a better 1080p screen. I sit within about 18 inches of them and have no trouble reading text or feel like I am seeing pixels. Often I move things from my super wide (3440x1440) just to make it easier to read. I also work from home full time as a programmer / developer. Using one of the extra inputs I use one of these as my main screen for work and have no complaints at all. When heavy multi-tasking I can switch my super wide to my work laptop as well but I honestly havent had the need to do this in over a year. These may not be the best screens out, but they are probably the best you will get for under $150.

I disagree with your assessment. If you are one of those people who looks for pixels. I am sure you will find them on websites that are not properly encoded. I have 32" 1440p's x3 all curved all around me. With 1440p you may have to zoom to find a text that will not make you squint.

If this were new and not refurbished, I would say that it's a good deal. For old people, a 1080P 32" is perfect because the text is larger than a 1440p or 4K.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to buy this piece of trash? Besides, Acer Is cheap fir a reason, it fails a lot more than others.

I guess, if you are an old geezer, who needs to see huge print, this is okay

I have 2 1080p 32" monitors that I work a full 8 hour day from (occasional 16 hour days), and I have had no problem with my large spreadsheets seeing pixels. Now, it's possible that I have the print sized higher than some like (I don't remember changing the stock setting, if so), but I have had zero issues. I would love to have this monitor, but I do have concerns about refurbs.

On a separate note, I also heard that these monitors are terrible for stocks but amazing for stonks. /s

completely agree with this, I have this and it's been great for gaming, but when I use it for work and heavy reading/excel sheets I find myself noticing the grainy pixels

I consider myself reaalllyy easy going and not not-picky at all when it comes to this kind of stuff, and even I'm feeling the strain when trying to read tiny stuff. for the price tag, its unbeatable.

Again, missing the point.
1440p for 32" is very good for reading. If text size is small, one can make font larger. And with 1440p you won't see pixel.

Think however you want. Truth is that there are no companies on earth that will give 32" with mere 1080p for employees to work. But is you still think this is fine, then go for it.

Yeah, I have a 1080p and 1440p 27in screen . The pixels are so blurry on my 1080p monitor. I can't imagine a 31.5in at 1080p.lol
