Sold out, but I seen these things go way lower the more you wait. The problem is too many people advertise them on here the second they drop even a little and people buy them out instead of waiting longer. Used to be able to get grills 80% off MSRP at end of year clearance.

Yeah that Camp Chef woot deal the other day was gone after like half an hour.
That being said this grill is in stock at my local BJs. I didn't bite because it's an older model without a PID and I'd like an ash cleaning feature. Great grill for the price, though

While the PID is nice to have, once you grill a few times with a grill you kind of learn how it operates so its not the biggest deal breaker for me, my next gril will definetly have the ash cleaning feature though, thats zero compromise from me.

I'd agree with that, sort of. I have a PB Classic, which is like a more stripped down version of this model, sold by Walmart, $250 on clearance. Mine came with no shelves or smokestack, but it's functionally the same. I've loved it and always get great results from it.
That said, upgrading to a Laredo (also WM clearance, $300 last year) has been a great experience. The addition of wifi and app control and the more precise PID controller have been worth it, in my eyes. The built in shelves are nice, too, although this one at Costco has those. It also has a built in control rod for the sear plate/cover, not that it was hard to DIY one. So you may find a better model for this price if you are patient and look a little, but I have no regrets about buying the Classic, and the 820 WILL cook some damn fine meat any way you like it.
There is a Liquidation store nearby called Mr G's. They had this model assembled and were charging $200. Manager said they didn't know of anything wrong with it and it came off a bjs truck along with other overstock items. It may have been a floor model but it looked mint. I picked it up and they said they'll likely have another by Thursday which is when the bjs truck comes by.
