Always amused by the idea of someone inexperienced buying something like this, and thinking they can actually fit 10 people inside. In reality for most people this is more like a "2 adults and 2 kids" tent, or even just 2 adults who want to spread out a bit.

I ordered this deal and it arrived a couple days ago. Solo setup is tricky, but doable. Took me about 25 minutes. Tear down took about 20 minutes. The tent is nice and spacious and the design stood up to wind gusts up to around 25 mph with no problem, though it did make solo setup much more laborious than it would have otherwise been.

Don't have this tent but it looks like a lot of surface area. If you get it make sure to purchase some robust ground stakes and a good tarp before using it on a trip.

Once you go above a 4 person tent, I wouldn't expect it to be an easy setup by one person. I have an 8 person and it isn't something I can do alone without cursing.

Same question! This would be nice to have it connected to an opened hatch of SUV... maybe able to just drape another tarp to better enclose the entrance of tent to the entrance of trunk?
