Why buy this for your dogs?
It will only contribute to dental issues. They don't need added sugar in their food, snacks, or treats.
Yes. It has sugar, but does not have antifreeze in it (propylene glycol), which can be toxic in large enough quantities. Why they would use propylene glycol in any pet food/snacks is beyond me. My uncle's neighbor poisoned my uncle's dog by putting a bowl of antifreeze on his property just because my uncle's dog would occasionally wander into his yard.

I am not here to promote any particular chemical compound, but ethylene glycol is by far the more toxic one. Propylene glycol is used in human and animal food and medical applications.
I prefer no glycols in my or my pets' food, but at least they don't add ethylene gylcol.
