    Depends on what you prioritize. If you have multiple HDMI 2.1 gaming consoles (PS5, XSX, PC) I'd go with the C1. If none of that matters to you, wait on the Sony. The Sony supports HDMI 2.1, but it's limited to HDMI ports 3(eARC), and 4. If you plan on using a sound bar or AVR, you'll either have to get a HDMI 2.1 compliant receiver for HDMI 2.1 passthrough, get a HDMI 2.1 switch, or run your audio through optical (not ideal). The Sony 77" will have better picture quality and it has a glossy finish unless the smaller A80Js that have a semi matte screen. Enjoy whatever you decide to get.

    It should have been delivered by now. I called them on the 15th., which was 1 day after they said they should have received it at the warehouse. They said they received it on the 13th. but didn't have my phone number to call me. So, I scheduled it to be delivered yesterday (July 19th.), and they actually came 30 minutes earlier than expected. Everything is fine. I live in Orange County, California and it was delivered to Los Angeles and then a secondary shipper delivered it to me.

    One would think. I'm in KS so geographically 1/2 the distance to ship. Alas, I called yesterday and they assured me they would call to schedule delivery once the TV makes it to the next stop. Fingers crossed!

    Got mine delivered today, WI. Great so far, I used a pc media server, and this tv plays, skips, pauses and resumes without issue.

    Question: When you guys inspected your TV prior to signing the BOL, were you able to lift the box/foam straight off the TV without cutting the tape, or did you have to cut and remove the box and foam separately?

    Trying to get my game plan together for when/if this TV ever reaches me.

    You have to cut tape at the top and disassemble the box by removing retainers from both ends; then remove all the foam. That's in addition to whatever they added to reinforce the box. It's kind of a pain and not quick.
