LOL 'private room' ...in a tent.
Got this tent a few weeks ago. It's quite roomy and first time set-up wasn't too difficult, and I imagine will get easier/faster each time.
The size of the carrying bag itself once the tent is stored is a bit longer than I expected, but it IS a large tent, so understandable.

I'm happy overall with it! Smilie
Fit 11 adults or for two looking for an outdoor 2BR apartment

Add a 5 gallon bucket and you got a bathroom! Perfect tiny house for Joe's America!
You mean the America with toilet paper and so low unemployment that the peanut gallery had to invent the term "worker shortage" to make it sound like a bad thing?

It's fine with a little bit of rain. A lot of rain and you'll need a tarp for sure. I'd assume any of the Ozark tents are going to be similar.

I have a somewhat smaller Ozark Trail instant tent, and I've weathered some serious storms in it. I always put a reflective tarp underneath it for two reasons:

1) Protection from sharp rocks and sticks. Always police your tent spot for rocks, sticks, metal, and glass before putting down your tarp.

2) Reflective side facing up so it helps keep body heat inside the tent at night.

No leaks, no tears, and no issues.

I was talking about putting a tarp over the top. Putting cover on the ground is a given for any tent (or I thought it was, anyway).
The private room/ bucket room also has window that faces up, that is not protected by the rain fly. You can zip it closed, but it will leak in heavy rain if not covered by something externally.
