One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

Noooooooooooooooooo! Waiting on my shipping confirmation myself.
The brakes are Tektro M275 HYDRAULIC.
The headset and bottom bracket are sealed bearing.
The hubs don't have branding, but I believe they are Joytech hubs, not Formula hubs as stated on the manufacturer website as the QR skewers have JOY branding on them.
The rear wheel is a freewheel, not a freehub.
The drivetrain did need adjustment on my bike out of the box. On my first ride the rear derailleur made contact with the wheel spokes when on the biggest cog.
Edit: Placed emphasis on hydraulic brakes! Also, my front rotor was quite bent when I put the bike together. Expect to have to fix that, along with adjusting the derailleurs. I added additional details above.

It might vary on the size of bike ordered.
For the 20" (which I am really salty about as I ordered a day before you all) the virtual assistant said it was backordered. CS through text also said it is shown as backordered with no date for when they might get more.

Hmm, I wonder if that popped up recently. This morning they were saying they had no timeline.
I talked to someone on the phone and they said something about switching warehouses and my order should ship - so who knows. My status on the order page went from "ready to go" to now nothing there.
