Stem [amazon.com]

Be sure to watch YT for installations. Common installation mistakes for above items include over-tightening and tightening wrong direction.

Start with these 2 videos and be patient:

How to Adjust a Front Derailleur [youtu.be]
How to Adjust a Rear Derailleur [youtu.be]

One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

Got my 16" delivered today. FedEX must have ran over to box and used it for target practice…… rear derailleur hanger is bent. Other than that bike seems to be fine. I contacted camping world and sent them pics of damage, no way to get another as they are out of stock. They offered a 50 dollar credit so I went ahead and took it. Reached out to frames warranty department to see if I can get a new hanger. Fingers crossed .

Someone bought a spare hanger a few pages back with a link. Believe it was $17.

Supposed to get the 20" tomorrow. Fingers crossed it isn't too trashed. This will be my main mode of transportation for several months.
Got my 20" yesterday and thankfully it was treated well by Fedex. No box damage and everything was in good shape.

Got mine and unable to loosen the outer nuts to insert the front wheel. I have 2 wrenches, one on either side and am applying adequate force in opposite directions to no success. Will look into finding a large nut driver drill bit before I give up and find a bike shop.

Also, it doesn't look like you can adjust the height of the handlebar. Is this normal? I haven't rode a bike in over a decade but I vaguely recall being able to adjust them like one would adjust the seat.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but there are no nuts to loosen to insert the front wheel. There is a plastic piece, kind of C shaped, that is stuck in the front fork where the wheel needs to go. Remove that, put the quick release rod (in the box with reflectors and pedals) through the wheel and slide it on the fork. Hope this helps.

Some bikes have the single nut that allows the handle bar stem to be adjusted. This bike isn't that style. You need a stem riser.

Please watch this assembly video I posted previously on a similar mountain bike: https://youtu.be/8Ez3a6aoL8c

You might be referring to the older threaded or quill stem where you could make some height adjustments in the head tube insert. Most modern bikes have threadless stems, although you could still find quill stems on some very cheap bikes like the Huffy Granite they are selling. Modern threadless stems can still adjust height by adding or removing stem spacers under the stem, as long as you have enough room on the exposed steerer tube. Other ways to adjust bar height include stems with a rise, or adjustable stems, and bars with rise.

Good call, that is a great deal! I've bugged them so much they now ask if I read their previous emails they sent me on my options. Which is cancel for refund or wait 2-3 weeks. I might wait a bit longer because they seem to not have any idea what's going on, maybe support is all out sourced with limited tools on stock.

please don't undo the bolts on the front wheel hub..........this is a quick install wheel. the quick release skewer is required to install and is in the box with the pedals and reflectors. please look this up online. if you undo the hub bolts, you may not get them back to adequate torque spec and can have issues with noise or premature wear to the bearings.

Did any one receive 16" ? I called the customer service this morning and it looks like they are on backorder for 2-3 weeks.
Just received the 16" yesterday. Point of origin is shipped from Zionsville, IN. The box (dimension: 56"x30"x8") has no rips or holes. Just very minute tears on the upper right corner.

I purchased the 16" and the 20" and put them together. There is literally no difference in the actual meaningful size/height of the bike because the seat posts for both bikes are the same height and it doesn't go in all the way (or close to all the way) on the 16" bike.

I'd have to cut the seat post to make it shorter if I wanted to make it any smaller/shorter.

Is this normal?

The seat post may be the same length between 16" and 20" sizes, but the bike frame sizes should be quite different. When you stand over the bike with both feet flat on the ground, there should be significant differences in your "junk" clearance from the top tube, by 3 - 4 inches between the 2 sizes. The stack and reach would also be noticeably different, where you would be leaning forward more on the 20" than the 16" to reach the grips. You can certainly cut the seat post to lower it more into the seat tube. Just don't cut too much as good portion of the seat post need to be inside the seat tube to not damage the frame.

EDIT: also smooth out the sharp edges after you cut the seat post so it doesn't score inside the seat tube.

The 18" is back in stock but for $180 so maybe there is hope for those of us waiting on backorders. I online chatted with them and the csr claimed the 18" was just restocked and that if it is showing as available for purchase that means there is more inventory than there are backorders and that our orders will ship in 3-5 business days. Still skeptical that the online agent knows what they are talking about, but slightly more hope now. I received the 16" version for my wife yesterday and the quality is fantastic for the $125 paid. Thanks OP!

Something isnt right with this website. I can add 8 18" to my cart on my phone, on the computer it says out of stock.
I've tried three times now to swap out my 20" to a 18" frame when I see them in stock on my phone and they wont do it and then tell me there is no stock any place.

NVM it now says in stock on the computer. I'm going to try and chat again with someone.
