On this bike, the difference between those two points is a pretty big difference.

I looked around on the bike and can't find any markings indicating model number, size, measurements, etc... but maybe I missed them?

Additional data point: Still waiting for a 16" (ordered 6/30), shows Backordered, customer service has no ETA.

Also, if you haven't used it yet, online chat bot is frustrating AF. Call them.

EDIT: After I got off the phone with them I received a Camping World Cancel Notification email indicating that they were canceling my order "as requested" and issuing a refund to my account. I called them back and told them I made no request to cancel and was just asking if they had an ETA on the backorder. They said they can't reinstate the order because they are out of stock and that I shouldn't have canceled. Good times. Best of luck to everyone else!

From the center of the cranks to the top of the frame where you put the seat into. Mine was exactly 16".

Ordered a 16 and 20 inch and got two 16's. The 16 inch works fine for my 5'6" wife and 5'9" me with the seat a couple of inches higher then my wife's.

I don't. I just think you are suggesting someone try something immoral. If I recall you suggested that they refuse to ship the bike back (claim you don't have a box, claim you can't take it apart again). I get that they made the mistake but that doesn't mean you should try to take advantage of it to get something beyond a fair return/resend/refund.

Framed sizes the bike based on the crank to top of seat tube (not including the seat post itself). If the tube measures 16" you got the 16" bike. Given your height I'm assuming the 18" or 20" is what you want.

Whelp, add me to the list of people that ordered a 20" bike and received a 16". Other than the measurement I don't have a way to prove it though, whoops :/. That said, when I stand over the bike, my junk is resting on the top tube, I don't think I would want it any higher than it already is. I have a 32" inseam, and have been previously fitted at a bike shop for 19"/Large (depending on the maker since they size differently). So I guess I am glad than I got what they call a 16" bike? Waiting for a couple of parts before I tune it up and take it out to see for sure how it fits, I have ridden a bike that is to small for me back when shopping for used bikes so I figure I can tell what won't work for me... we'll see. Either way I am keeping it, assuming the only other option is to return it.

on the seat height adjustment for 16", does the seat go all the way down ?? i loosened the clamp but last 3-4" tube won't go in. Is that how its supposed to be ? TIA!!

I respect your moral compass and corresponding decisions; you very well could be a better person than me. I was just trying to give the guy another potential means of handling the disappointment of not getting what he ordered and then being asked to invest even more time in cleaning up their mistake. If you're willing to disassemble the bike and try to repack it all to help the company resolve their error, that is very gracious of you. My point is that doing exactly what the company tells you is not one's only course of action when a company errs. For additional clarity, I made neither claim that you mention in this post.

If the person has honestly thrown the boxes out then I would say it is on the company to deal with that as they were the ones who made the original mistake. However, if the issue is just the person doesn't want to undo the limited assembly work and put the bike back in the box I can't be too sympathetic as the company would have made a reasonable effort to correct a mistake.

Yes, the seat won't go all the way down, since the 16'' has a shorter tube on frame and its lower part has a little bit curve. I cut off about 2'' inches off the seat, then it goes down.

20'' bike does not have the problem.

Yep, that looks like another & easier way to confirm if you have a 16", no tape measure needed. My seat also does not go all the way down, it stops 3ish inches from being all of the way in, right where the bottom of the seat post hits the curve in the frame.

Thanks for the confirmation. Just to make sure as the lower part of the tube has the curve i need to cut the top part of the seat tube ??
