This seems similar in price to the hisense u6h units on sale now - thoughts of comparison?

I have the 58" version and the picture quality is very good. Not oled good but definitely above midrange TVs.

The software is another story. I'm not sure if they used a slow cpu or just bad software but there is some odd quirks with the tv. Sometimes my earc soundbar won't connect. Sometimes I have to unplug the power cord to get it to actually turn on. But an update came out today that a lot of people said fixed the problems. I got it but holding out for a few weeks to see if it did.

My problems are very sporadic. Sometimes it's fine for weeks then other times it's every time I turn on the tv.

I paid $480 for the 58" version from Amazon a few months back. I wanted something with multiple hdmi 2.1 ports and 120hz for Xbox series x, ps5 and earc soundbar. I could only find 2 models with that. Vizio p series but that is 65" at smallest and twice what I paid. Or an lg oled and that would have been 3 times what I paid or so.

This tv has been a nightmare. From not working with their Vizio soundbar to having a tech come out a few months after I purchased it to replace all the boards. My first issue was a total loss of power. Fixed under warranty with new boards. It constantly tells me I have no speakers with the HDMI eARC soundbar. I agree with the above poster, phenomenal quality when the software works properly, but the recent update has only made it worse for me. I'm constantly having to unplug the TV as it will freeze after playing my ps5 or XSX. I wish I had spent the extra for the LG C1.

Check to see if you got update 1.150.24.2. They are slowly rolling updates. The easiest way to see is the input selection screen is vertical instead of horizontal. The only problem I've seen is some people say the chromecast part is broken.

Yep I didn't even notice that change! It has messed up my V21T-J8 that used to work well, I'll follow up with Vizio and see if they have any fix.
