That said, the instructions for this offer do say that you can tell the barista to add the coupon to your in-store order. In the details of the coupon it says:
"Code: 4161 -- Summer Tuesyays! Get 50% off one cold beverage. Expires on 7/6/22"
(and note that Starbucks differs from almost every other retailer in that their expiration dates are stated as when the offer is no longer valid, not the last date you can use it. So when it says 7/6/22 above that means the last day to use it is today 7/5/22.)
Anyway, I dunno if you just use your normal Starbucks gift card (that's been associated with your rewards account) maybe you can get this offer without needing the app. Or maybe it's not coded that strictly and if the barista keys in the code it will work for anyone.
