over a year use, no burn in.
use it for work and gaming.
static web pages on it most days, no burn in...
people still talking burn in 2022 have no clue or seriously just have their monitor on 24/7 with a static image at the brightest setting.
I wouldn't trust Open Box from Best Buy on a TV. I've read too many bad stories.
Will they price match if you don't have a microcenter in your area?

I checked, and I think you do.
I tried to buy an open box 65 inch C9 from Best Buy. Got home and realized they sold me an open box B8. Called the store to (politely) complain, and ended up getting a brand new C9 for the open box price. That was a great bit of luck early in the pandemic.
If you want a bigger screen above or next to your main monitor, this is it. If you go any bigger, it gets to be too much. OLED isn't a gimmick, its a game changer, especially with dark games or games where you really want color to pop.

How far away do you have to be sitting? My desk is deep enough to handle at least 2.5-3 feet if I basically put it all the way at the back.
How would you put this next to a monitor? I'm asking because of the sizes involved. My IPS monitor is already 27", I just don't see how I could use it plus the 48" OLED — help me see the light! (:
Can you provide your thoughts on my questions to tonymontana above re: burnin prevention? I would primarily use this for work with some occasional gaming, I'm trying to picture what the workflow is to prevent burnin.
Is this built in? Can you provide it your own pics on a network share?
To clarify, I checked closer and I have the LG 48CX but it seems like a similar TV with OLED 120Hz 4k. So my apologies, this is for the LG 48CX.
You have to manually start the pixel refresher cycle, it will run when you turn the TV off. I do it once a month but you can run it once a week, don't see why not.
In addition to the pixel refresh cycle the TV has optional screen shift, "screen shifts at regular time intervals" and an option for logo luminance adjustment where it will "adjust the luminance of static images such as logos".
No way to add to the screen saver images that I see.
Mine is wall-mounted slightly higher than a desk monitor. I measured I'm four feet away and about a 1/2 ft below.
