I am finishing up a new build and need at least 2-3 tv, one of which will be our primary tv. I was gonna wait till BF and get a nice 75"+ tv but just don't know where to start. Heard a lot of folks say OLED is the top dog.
Excluding OLED, popular options you might want to look into(in no particular order).
Sony X90J
Samsung QN90A
Hisense U8G
I recently helped setup a U8G, after calibration that's pretty good performance for the price.
Hope that helps and good luck.

^There is a setting in the menu to turn the screen off if you want to leave it on and just listen.

Alexa works on "vampire rules" - You have to let her in...
Why don't you just turn off the TV when no longer watching?
Some used to say the last gen of plasma screens back in 2015 didn't have burn-in issues either.
